Dr. James Plummer

Dr. James Plummer, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

James Plummer graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the California State University, Chico in 1996 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapie from Fontys Hogescholen in the Netherlands in 2002. He became a Board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in 2012. He completed a certification in manual therapy from Evidence in Motion in 2017 and in 2019 completed his fellowship training. He has been teaching in both residency and fellowship programs for the Kaiser Permanente Graduate Education Program since 2019. He has also served on faculty with California State University, Sacramento and Baylor University. James is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists and has a special interest in the treatment of spinal injuries.

Dr. Sylvia Sprenkel, DPT

Dr. Sylvia Sprenkel, DPT, TPS

Sylvia is a local to Butte County and grew up in Chico. She graduated from Sonoma State University with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2013. Sylvia earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in 2017. She received her Therapeutic Pain Science specialization from Evidence in Motion in 2020 and treats patients with persistent pain in a variety of populations. Other areas of interest include orthopedic rehabilitation, athletic injuries, geriatric care, and women's health. Sylvia enjoys hiking, backpacking, running, and being in the outdoors with her husband and dog.

Adam

Dr. Adam Voss, DPT, CSCS

Adam Voss is a long-time resident of Butte County and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Chico in 2017. He subsequently graduated with his doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from California State University, Sacramento in 2020 and during his graduate coursework also completed his Strength & Conditioning Specialist certification. He has strong interests in general strength and conditioning, manual therapy, and treating a wide range of patients with orthopedic diagnoses. Adam spends his free time with his wife and two sons and enjoys fishing, reading, and DIY projects.

Lorilyn

Lorilyn, Front Office

Lorilyn joins us from the Monterey Bay Area with extensive experience in customer service and healthcare administration. She has the unique ability to help patients through all aspects of insurance and appointment setting with her background in computer science. She takes pride in being compassionate, empathic and driven to help patients with all of their needs. Going the extra mile for patients is really her specialty and passion. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her friends and family, digging into a good book and sharing the madness created by her dogs.
